What is Handpoke tattoo ?
The handpoke method of tattooing involves using a sharp needle to deposit ink pigment into the skin, similarly to using a tattoo machine. However, instead of electricity, the needle is manually operated.
This technique has been used for thousands of years as a form of body art.
Compared to machine tattoos, handpoke tattoos are less painful during the application process and tend to heal more quickly.
The method requires a great deal of precision, which allows for high-quality and intricate designs, even in challenging locations on the body.
A few years ago, I established my own small tattoo studio.
My goal was to provide a secure and welcoming environment, where I could enjoy creating art and my clients could feel comfortable and at ease.
The studio is situated in the back streets of Vila do Bispo, resulting in a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
